Stepping into Hostal La Rotonda felt like a warm embrace from Spain itself. This family-owned gem sits just in front of Ourense Train Station, making it an ideal hub for exploring the city's rich cultural treasures. The modern, heated rooms exude a cozy charm with wooden floors and a flat-screen TV, a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing.The location was a dream come true for us, as we could easily hop on the tourist train to the Thermal Baths of Chavasqueira just 700 meters away. The staff, especially a young girl at the reception and bar, were not only helpful but also spoke excellent English, providing us with valuable tips on local dining spots like La Romantica.Tours and tickets assistance were readily available, a testament to the hotel's commitment to ensuring a seamless travel experience for guests. The on-site bar was a delightful spot to unwind, offering a taste of Spanish breakfast at a great value.
